Extra Writing Tasks
The tasks included here can be set by teachers as classwork or homework, or used by students for self-study. They can also be used as further practice to units in Academic Writing (as indicated).
Many students find that they need more writing practice than can be provided on a normal short course. Students can choose which tasks they want to work on and when to do them. Then they can use the writing models to assess their own work. Note that the model is not an ‘answer’, but it does show one way of completing the task.
